Registration email addresses are private and used for account access. Act names, images, descriptions, locations and any contact details or social links you choose to publish are public.

Audience sharing publishes the current song title, artist and lyrics, plus the titles and artists of songs in the Host catalogue and whether a song was recently performed. Personal notes, media files, setlists and other private song fields are not published.

Starting a Host automatically attempts to obtain location, subject to your Android permission choice. Denying permission does not prevent sharing via QR, the local network or name search. Audience proximity filtering can also use an optional city. Device coordinates are rounded before transmission and the globe shows approximate performance locations only. Precise coordinates are not displayed publicly. Performance location is separate from a act’s home city and stops being used for proximity searches after 12 hours or when the act is offline. A random audience identifier is stored on your device/browser for one request per song per session. The server stores its hash and requested song IDs; voting request limits also use your network IP address. Changing browser or clearing its data can create another identity, so this is not a guarantee of one request per person. Active client heartbeats are retained briefly to count the connected audience; no public list of client identities is exposed. Votes from previous sessions are removed when the Host next publishes a repertoire.

Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Device access expires after 90 days and can be revoked from the app. Web publishing currently requires server-approved test access; Google Play subscription integration is a separate stage.

To delete your web account, use Account and acts in the app or the Account deletion page. Transfer administration of shared acts first. Deleting your web account does not cancel a Google Play subscription or delete your local songs.

This test version uses Google demonstration advertisements. No production advertising revenue is enabled.

When you select an act city, its name, country and city-centre coordinates are saved. The saved city is used for live discovery when a current device location is unavailable. The globe labels this as the act's home city. City searches use our local GeoNames catalogue; the city selection map loads OpenStreetMap tiles, which receive normal network request information and the viewed map area. City data: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0); map: OpenStreetMap contributors.

The audience globe uses MapLibre and OpenFreeMap vector maps from OpenStreetMap. Map tiles and fonts are requested for the area being viewed; the provider receives normal network request information and viewed map areas. Act identities and our marker data are not sent to the map provider. Approximate city markers may represent several acts at the same city centre; use the group list to select an act.
